Environment: Windows 7 x64 and Linux
Storage: NAS
Application: Keep 2 NAS drives in Sync
SyncToy: V 2.1
I have 2 NAS drives and using Windows 7 with SyncToy 2.1 to echo from one NAS drive to another. This NAS drives are mounted on both Windows and Linux machines. When using Linux machine I have created lot of softlinks for files on NAS drive (using ln -s command).
When I copy this files using Sync, it actually ends up making duplicate copy of this files on my backup NAS drive. As the Backup NAS drive is of same size as my original NAS drive and original NAS Drive is more then 90% used, I end up filling my backup NAS drive without copying all the files from Original NAS drive.
Is tehre Any kind of settings on Synctool or Windows 7 that could correctly identify the link files and simply copy the link from the NAS drive instead of the actual file attached to the link.
