Route message in Plugin for Incident in CRM 2016. RRS feed

    How can we use or what will trigger the  Route message that we have for Incident entity in Plugin ?

  • Hi Nishant,

    Generally If you Route a Case, the owner of the case will change to selected on.

    So try with Assign Request for your custom Plugin Logic and also we have Route Message for Incident.

    Select any message accordingly.

  • The Route message was deprecated in Crm 2011, so you shouldn't use it. It used to be used when routing an incident to a queue, but with Crm 2011, many more entities could be added to a queue. Instead you should use the AddToQueue message on the queueitem entity
