Notifications of replies do not work. Is it just me? RRS feed

    Hi everyone:

    This becomes very annoying and I was wondering if anyone else went through this. Say, I post a question on this forum and check "Alert me when someone responds to this post." I then click Submit and close the browser window hoping to receive an email when someone answers my question. But ... none come. I thought that my questions were ignored until by pure chance I went to my CP and found out that I got responses (but no emails). I have a Hotmail account and I used to receive notifications from this forum (and I do receive notifications from any forum derived from a phpBB template, but not from any of the Microsoft templates). There was a moment some time ago when Hotmail filters were marking with red (or spam alert) any notifications from these forums but now it seems like they simply don't make it.

    Anyhow, can someone suggest what shall I do to get notified?
    (Well, besides switching to gmail.)

    Yes, I got it fixed. The problem was that my email address disappeared from the settings. It used to work but then it just disappeared by itself...

    Can you verify you have set up our email address in the My Forum Links 'my settings' page?
