Resources on enterprise templates RRS feed

    I am using PS 2010.  I have enterprise templates defined and added project schedule templates to each of them.  Neither schedule template has any resources, generic or named, on the tasks.  If I add named resources to the tasks on the templates, will this impact resource planning at all?  Seems it did in PS2003.
