Error Setting SrsDataConnector - missing reportmanager RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have two VMs both running Windows 2016 Server. Both carrying the full service packs

    I installed SQL 2016 on VM a

    I Installed CRM 2016 on VM b

I copied the SrsDataconnection folder from the install disc to VM a

I run the SrsDataconnector set up as Administrator. During the install I get the error

    Microsoft.Crm.Setup.SrsDataConnector.AddBindingRedirectForRdlHelper failed.

Could not find part of the path 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportManager\web.config'

When looking in Reporting services Directory .. There is no ReportManager directory

Have I missed something out on the setting up ?

Dont ask me .. i dont know

  • Hi

On the first screen from the SRS Reporting Extension Installation ("Get recommended updates"), you have to choose "Get updates ..." Afterwards the installation will work without any problems.

    Kind regards
