2nd shot does not work - 2011 is over!

Question

Hi guys,
I just got my second shot (sat exam last Friday). Problem is, no exam centers are open until Tuesday, which is 2012... the second shot voucher does not work, it says:
"The selected appointment Date is after the voucher expiration date"Well, duh! But Prometric sent my 2nd shot so late I cannot book before the end of the year... any suggestions? Will Prometric send another valid for early next year? Thanks,RegardsThursday, December 29, 2011 10:40 AM

The terms and conditions of vouchers clearly state when they expire and when they need to be used by. Prometric and Microsoft cannot be blamed for the fact that someone hasn't read them.

No they won't send you a new one and it's not really their fault that the voucher will expire before you have a chance to use it and they didn't send the voucher late.
You sat the exam on Friday 23rd December (two days before Christmas). How was Prometric supposed to get the voucher to you any earlier given that they are closed on weekends and over the Christmas break?

I strongly disagree, as you should be able to schedule within 2011 and once schedule reschedule for $35 dollars to 2012 as the voucher is used within the voucher expiration. Once you use it you are getting information from Prometric that the exam registered is expiring in DEC 2012 but you still cannot reschedule. This is a pathetic rule as you have followed all the Microsoft Rule and should be allowed to now continue on the Prometric registration expiration time.Sunday, January 1, 2012 10:39 PM

I think if you read the Terms and Conditions you will see that it states the second shot exam must be taken in 2011.

I agree with Astrekapolis, it's rather pathetic. I was affected by this as well. I hope someone acts on my complaint. The expiration should not say Dec 31 as it's not so.
Thanks for your help. AbbeyTuesday, January 3, 2012 8:52 PM -
