Possible to use 'ADO.NET Data Provider for Oracle' in 'Configure Data Synchronization' wizard ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I add in my project a “Local Database Cache”.
The wizard “Configure Data Synchronization” launches out.
Within the framework “Database Connections”, to configure the parameter “Server Connection”, I click on the button “New…”.
In the dialog box “Add Connection”, I click on the button “Change…” to change the Data source.
I am in the dialog box “Change Data Source”, but there problem : I do not have DataSource for Oracle and in the list box “Data provider”, I do not have the '.NET Data Provider for Oracle'! I however have the possibility of using this ADO.NET provider in the server explorer to create a new database connection.

I thought that Sync Framework made it possible to use all ADO.NET provider for the server connection.

    Thanks for your help.
