    Hi All,

    If I clone a hard disk, are the license keys of the software also cloned  ? We restricted following on our software 

    • MAC Address

    If you clone a hard disk, the license key should be also cloned.
    But I cannot understand the meaning "We restricted following on our software  MAC Address".
    What does it mean?
    If some software prohibit from copying by checking MAC Address, it can not be used when NIC (Network Interface Card) is changed.

    Yes we prohibit from copying by checking MAC Address. But once HDD cloned it does not showing trial. Software license also copying and it showing license version after cloned HDD start.

    Please provide the name of the software that you are talking about.
    Different software use different technology for protecting its licence.
