I can't install Windows Genuine Advantage Notification RRS feed

  • Hi, I followed all the steps above, I still can't install Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474). Below is the result after I run MGA Diagnostil tool. I have Windows XP Pro SP3 installed. The manufacturer is Dell. Please let me know what else I can try to fix this. Thanks a lot.

    Unfortunately this falls outside our expertise here in the WGA Forum. Please post this error in the "Discussions in Windows Update Forum" located at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsupdate&lang=en&cr=US . Also Xiao you may use the search feature located at the top of the forum and see if anyone else has experienced the same problem. Maybe the answer has already been posted. If not please post here and someone will provide you with a fix action.

    Here is the message it's showing whe the update failed to install.

    Problem: A problem on your computer is preventing updates from being downloaded or installed
    Solution: To fix the problem, try installing the updates again. If that doesn't work, use the Troubleshooter to try solve the problem.
