Constant hard drive access vista!! RRS feed

    Since installing vista i have noticed my hard drive seems to be constantly being acessed or at least the hard drive light is constantly flickering.
    Not sure what could be causing this, any idea?

    Vista is a monster always hungry for high end hardware.

    i think that your RAM is low for the vista and its applications  to run.

    It may be due to the swapping of pages form the virtual address space constantly as the RAM is full.

    yep its true ...ur using too much of virtual memory resulting in THRASHING
