Changing my profile name

    Question

  • Hi there.

Am I wanting to change my profile name and remove the [SCCMentor] bit from it. However when I try it tells me that the profile name Paul Winstanley is already in use. I have a feeling that I have set up a profile previously with an old email account. Is there anyway I can find this information out?

  • Was it your own profile? In any case, you need to send request to fissues at microsoft dot com.

  • Hi Paul,

Your best bet to get some help with this will be to send an email to fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com. The forums team might be able to help you out with this and they monitor that mailbox more often than this forum in my experience.

EDIT: If they can't help you get this sorted out, you could always try the 'use two spaces between first and last name' method.

  • That's interesting, I didn't realize you could use a wildcard in the user search. Doesn't seem to catch everything though, as I'm assuming this is the profile in question:

  • I don't know why it isn't picked up. It isn't the branding either.
