Help: XP64 cannot install SyncToy RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I cannot install SyncToy Beta 2.0 on Windows XP64. The pop up message says:

    E:\Document and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\SyncToySetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application

Where 'E' is the HD where I have the operative system.

I thought it was supposed to work with a 64 bit system. Is there anything I can do to make it working?

Thank you very much for helping

  • We don't have any further reports of this issue happening - most likely a file corruption issue during download from the web-site. Please try to download again and install.

  • I"m having the same problem. I just spent 6 hrs converting to xp64 and finding 6 different work arounds to get computer working. The irony here is the only program I can't get to work is Synctoy made by MICROSFT. I evan got around the Quicktime problem.  It's just about enough to make me switch to a Mac forever.
