Windows 7 Build 7600 - this is not a genuine copy. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi There,

I did not buy my copy of Windows as i work for a school and it comes with the lap top. Somehow i think i have got a virus, and now its telling me that i cant run windows as its not a genuine copy.  I have run the diagnostic test so i can copy it here if that helps.

    Thanks

Please use slmgr.vbs /ato to activate and update KMS client information in order to update values.

You have a Trusted Store Tamper present, and your machine is requesting re-activation from the KMS Server.
Since this is obviously a centrally-managed computer, the chances are that you do not have access to the tools necessary to be able to fix a Tamper of this sort, and should therefore contact the IT Support for your organisation, and request their assistance.
