problems with installing one care on the second computer RRS feed

  • Question

  •

We installed one care (pain for subscription) on one computer, now we cannot get it to work on the second computer. I tried to open it (I saved it to desktop and it said it installed it) but then I get an error code...

ocsetup.exe  Entry Point not found.  X The procedure entry point GetProcess ID could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

    Now what do I do?

    I have windows XP.

  • This error typically means that you are trying to install on an unsupported operating system. So, if it is XP, it must be 32 bit or x86 and not the 64 bit version of XP. And, it must be at least Service pack 2. If you are using a 32 bit version, then go to Windows Update to get the system up to date first, then try installing OneCare.
