Currently having problems logging into the forums with IE9

Question
-
The last couple of days I've had issues logging into the forums. They don't get to the sign-in page and give an error, 'The site may be experiencing problems' or 'The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network'.
Out of frustration I tried Chrome and got straight in. ???????

'The site may be experiencing problems' or 'The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network'.
I got one of those earlier this week trying to use connect. InPrivate browsing mode was a sufficient workaround. (Ctrl-Shift-P).BTW this is the first such symptom I had since starting to use the NNTP bridge again (occasionally). And this has reminded me that I had better keep using it occasionally if I want to help find out what the conditions are when it happens. ; )
Thanks

Thanks for the InPrivate tip. Weird but it works. Several things that gave issues now work correctly. Posts expand and show all the replies etc.

Welcome to the club :-) I was able to get in with Chrome for a couple of days about a month ago and then that stopped working too.

The Compatibility Mode might also do it. It should work for the same reason that InPrivate works. This is a month old, and many sites had to catch up to be compatible with new browsers. I assume this problem is fixed now, right?
Thanks!

It is not fixed for me - using IE8 on Windows XP.
