  • Question

  • Using Windows 7 I was using Windows Live Mail.

    OS = Windows7

    I had Microsoft Office 97 Professional installed.

    I installed Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise.

    I decided to switch from Windows Live Mail to Microsoft Outlook 2007.

    I exported email messages from Windows Live Mail BUT did not see the filename or location that exported file went.

    When I went to Outlook 2007 and selected import my files from win live mail came over automatically and successfully.

    Once everything was working fine I decided to delete the old Microsoft Office 97 professional.

    Now Office 2007 seems to be all there HOWEVER all my email messages have dissappeared.

    Can you help me find the original exported file from windows live mail so I can import it again into outlook 2007?

    Thanks, John

  • Ya know I did that before I posted this cry for help. I figured it out!

    I went to the ......Microsoft\Outlook folder and found a pst file named Outlook and another Outlook1. The original Outlook folder was much larger. 1.5 GB. That had to be it. I imported that file and Shezam I'm back in business. I guess there is power in Prayer! Have a great day!
