How to connect a client to home server network RRS feed

  • home server has installed sucessfully. Now, how to connect a client to home server network?

Answers

  • If self built and server name and console password are already configured:
    Download and install the Connector software from http://yourservername:55000.
    If it is an OEM model, you may have to use their Connector CD for the first machine, for the subsequent clients above method is recommended after all patches to your WHS are applied via the Update Now button (until no new updates are offered any more) in the console under Settings/General.
