VM on Hyper-v won't start

  I was exploring Hyper-V and trying to solve a CPU usage problem. I made some change to the settings and now it won't start. Every time I start the VM, it fails within 3 seconds and re-tries again and repeats. 
  
  I have a Windows 10 Pro. and the guest OS is Ubuntu 20.04. I used the quick create and the VM was working fine (other than the CPU issue I was trying to solve) until I made the following setting change:
  
  bcdedit /set hypervisorschedulertype core  # (the default was root)
  
  I very much appreciate if you could provide some insights. (I am new to this forum, apologize if I'm not posting at the right place)
