Using search server 2008 in Sharepoint RRS feed

    hi, I have created a sharepoint site but i need to be able to access a local file system. I was informed that search server 2008 express would suit my needs but now that i have downloaded, installed and setup what appears to be a search server site, I am at a loss as to how to use this within my sharepoint site.

    Do I have to create my site using the search server site, or is there a way to implement a seach web part within the sharepoint site?

    Any help would be appreciated, Thanks
