HOW TO CREATE LIVE MESH LOGS
PC Users
- Click Start.
- Select All Programs and look for the Live Mesh folder.
- Click Collect Live Mesh Logs.
- Your logs will be bundled together in a cab file named: LiveMeshLogs.Cab now located on your desktop. You'll attach this file to your bug report.
Mac Users
- Click App Tray Live Mesh icon.
- Click Collect Live Mesh Logs.
- Your logs will be bundled together in a zip file named: LiveMeshLogs.Cab now located on your desktop. You'll attach this file to your bug report.
Mobile Users
- Find the following folder on your Mobile Device: \Application Data\Live Mesh\Data\Log. You'll attach this file to your bug report.
What to do if you can't generate a Live Mesh Log
Please note: if you have changed your desktop directory to be in a location other then default, please look in c:\Users\<loginname>\appdata\desktop
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR BUG REPORT
- Sign in with your Windows Live ID.
- Click here to submit your bug.
- Enter all information that will help us understand and investigate your issue.
- Once completed submit your bug (you'll attach your Mesh Logs after the bug has been submitted)
- On the bottom of the next page click on attach files. (At this time please use Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox, or AOL to attach files.)
- Attach your Live Mesh Logs to your bug report.
