SFC frequently has problems fixing all errors in one pass  - it may be worth running it again.
Please upload a copy of the CBS.log file to your SkyDrive and post the link in your response.

Darin may have something to contribute, but so far we’ve been unable to fix the COM Registration error in these forums.

Unfortunately, I think we’ve taken this as far as we can in the forums – your best bet for a resolution now is either MS WGA Support, or a repair install of the OS using a Retail Win7 DVD (with SP1 integrated)

WGA Support can be found here-
    North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/cu_sc_genadv_master?ws=support&ws=support#tab4

    Outside North America:
    http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support#tab0

Please let us know if (and how) MS manage to repair the problem without a repair install of the OS - it would be useful for future reference!

You should get Success responses after each line of code (you may need to hit the Enter key to complete the last line)

Once you've rebooted, check to see if the Service has started - if so, then check that the Volume Shadow Copy Service is also present, and starts on request.

Post back with a new MGADiag report, and the resultss of the above.

UNINSTALL your registry ‘c;leaner’ – it’s more of a registry ‘destroyer’!

Your Licensing Store is corrupted  (again, probably by the registry cleaner)
    Recreate the Licensing Store
    1) Click Start button.
    2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
    3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
    4) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
    5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
    6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
    7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
    8) Type: net start sppsvc
    9) Type: slui.exe
    10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.

Run MGADiag again, and post the report, together with details of any error messages encountered.

‘Tokens.dat’ in use means that the sppsvc service was not properly stopped – which is why the problem remains.
Did you get a message ‘The Software Protection Service was stopped successfully’ prior to entering that line?
If not, then repeat the while process.

Please run he following commands from an elevated command prompt and post the results....

    net stop sppsvc
    sc qc sppsvc
    sc queryex sppsvc

    That’s also normal -

The big problem appears to be the ‘access denied’ error on SLUI.exe

This could be a permissions problem of some kind – please run the following commands from an Elevated (Admin) Command Prompt.

    sc sdshow sppsvc
    sc qprivs sppsvc
    sc qsidtype sppsvc

OK – now we need to repair the WAT system
Go to Installed Updates in the Programs & Features control panel – Uninstall the WAT Update (KB971033), reboot,  and reinstall it – download it from here... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971033 (you’ll need the x64 version).

Once it’s reinstalled, go to the Validation site, and try validating Windows.... www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate

    Then run another MGADiag report.

    1 step forwards – 2 steps back :(

The COM registration problem is not one that we’ve been able to fix so far – but let’s try an SFC scan, as that may turn the trick.
    Click on the Start button
    type in the Search box
    CMD.EXE
right-click on the only file that is found
    Select Run as Administrator
    - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up
    At the Command prompt, type
    CHKDSK C: /R
    and hit the Enter key
You will be told that the drive is locked, and the CHKDSK will run at he next boot - hit the Y key, and then reboot. The chkdsk will take a few hours depending on the size of the drive, so be patient!

After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally (possibly after a second auto-reboot) - then run the SFC

SFC -System File Checker - Instructions
    Click on the Start button
    type in the Search box
    CMD.EXE
right-click on the only file that is found
    Select Run as Administrator
    - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up
    At the Command prompt, type

    SFC /SCANNOW

    and hit the Enter key
Wait for the scan to finish - make a note of any error messages - and then reboot.

run another MGADiag report, and post the results.

As I said, I think we’ve gone as far as we can here in the forums to fix this issue – your best bet is either a repair install (In-place Upgrade), or WGA Support.

Your print spooler problem could indicate that you have other problems as well – which will need to be addressed possibly before the WGA problem is fixed. These problems are outside the remit of this forum.
