CrmAppPool runs in Integrated Managed Pipeline Mode RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there way we could migrate CrmAppPool from Classic mode to Integrated mode under IIS 7? I have a Web Service that run in its own AppPool and would like to host it under CrmAppPool. But CRM is running under Classic mode. I'm not sure CRM 4.0 app is written to support this workaround. Thanks for you inputs.

  • This site suggests that the use of Integrated Pipeline Mode may be inherently unsupported due to the interoperability issues of the web.config file, as written for CRM 4.  Of course, it's always good to read what Microsoft says is supported .

  • Is there any workaround steps for this that Microsoft says is unsupported but not breaking the application? This is the closest article I could find

  • I don't personally know, just indicating what I can find.  If anybody has experience to share with you, I'd like to see it as well.
