  • Is it just my opinion or has the need for higher share-market profits outstripped the the compassion for struggling poor of the world.

This validation process that the microsoft guys have imposed on the world may be rite within the intentions of stamping out pirating but what about those that cant afford the basics and need to struggle to get somewhere in life??

When a good friend built a computer from discarded parts and gave it to my kids, it was like christmas to them.

Yes, he might have coppied his software, but I couldn't afford the genuine thing.

I have a medicle condition that prevents me from working and I have five school age children. Call it pride, but I don't need simpathy, I need the respect (just like my friend) to be able to servive the best way that I can.

I feel that this process of validation has robbed me of the helping hand that was there for my family when I needed it.

I know that I am not alone with this type of problem.
