I have a request for information if MS CRM 4.0 marketing campaign generated emails can contain polls or surveys where results can be captured and traced in CRM. Is that possible at all or does this need to be done from MS Sharepoint?

It's very hard to do it in Dynamics CRM. Better is to use surveys in Sharepoint here you can find examples:

It can be done through customization or sharepoint as kgorczewski referenced or you can look at some 3rd Party add-ons like ExactTarget if you want a 'plug n play' type solution rather than developed.

Hi,

Out of the box this functionality is not included in crm 4.0. Sharepoint does have a survey webpart out of the box so it may work for your needs.

We also have an addon that adds survey functionality into dynamics crm:
