Internal Hard drive shows in device manager but not a device in my computer RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've tried this internal hard drive both in the computer and in an enclosure (USB) in multi computers. The Device manager says it's working but it doesn't show on my computer. It the hard drive defective? The hard drive has been reformatted. Any help is appreciated.

  • You may need to assign it (or change) a drive letter in Disk Management

    Start|Run|diskmgmt.msc

or also try them over here.

  • Hi arcabe,

    Thanks for your post.

Windows Forms General is discussing about client application development using Windows Forms controls and features. Since your issue is about hard drive, I will move your thread to off-topic. You could get more support at hard drive forum.

    Thanks for your understanding.
