    If you have recovery cd's for your computer from the manufacturer, usually, on the start of the cd, there is an option to repair startup or repair the copy of windows. You could try that. Or, install a fresh copy of your os by formating the disk, and reinstalling windows. If you donnot have backup cd's, you should seek help from the computer manufacturer to order a set. They are not very expensive if you own the system. With corupt files on the route drive, there is not much chance of recovering without a complete reinstall of windows.
