  • Question

  • So I just bought OneCare because I've heard so many good things about it. But I can't figure out what it wants me to do. I have a red 1 on the bottom right side of my screen. I tried fixing the problem but it doesn't let me do anything. It just tells me that my compuiter is at risk. What do I do?

Do you mean that clicking the Fix it link in the notification of actions to take does nothing? If so, try this:

Fix It doesn't work - try the database reset tool - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=4bc2594b-95ab-4235-b5b8-41656b38480f&DisplayLang=en

If that doesn't solve the problem, please contact support.

Your situation, although seeming to be similar, I believe is different.

First, check your system date and time. If it is wrong, correct it and reboot the PC. If it is correct, try the

Virus and Spyware repair tool - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2667445&SiteID=2

If the problem persists, please contact support.
