HELLO SIR / MISS / MADAM...
I'M HAFIZUL,
I BOUGHT MY LAP TOP ( HP , COMPAQ nx9010 ) LAST 3 YEAR AND USING AN ORIGINAL WINDOW XP....
EARLY 2007,MY LAP TOP HAD A PROLEM AND I HAVE TO FORMAT MY LAPTOP...AFTER SOLVE MY PROLEM,I IDENTIFIED THAT MY WINDOW XP IS NOT ORIGINAL BECAUSE WHEN I'M SWITCH ON MY KAP TOP, THERE IS A POP UP SAY THAT I'M A COUNTERFITING VICTIM BECAUSE I'M NOT USING AN ORIGINAL WINDOW....
NOW, WHEN I WANT TO UPDATE MY MEDIA PLAYER,IT NEED A VALIDATION BUT I CAN'T VALIDATE IT....
WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

When you reformatted, you must have used a CD that installed a bogus copy of XP.
The solution is to use the Recovery CD supplied by HP/Compaq for your exact make and model of computer. Visit the HP support pages for your exact model and see if you can order a set of recovery CDs. If you can get them, the installation of XP using these recovery CDs will solve the problem easily.

Your issue appears to be outside the scope of the Genuine Advantage forum. In an attempt to assist I would like to provide some information which may help. Recovery CD’s are specific to your computer manufacturer. Please contact your manufacturer for assistance. They should be able to assist with your request and/or questions. Since the telephone number and web sites are not maintained by Microsoft we cannot make any warranty as to their validity.
