    I have used Microsoft Onecare on an XP computer with no problems yet when I use a new installation of Onecare from a CD on a vista computer the expiry date still says 22/01/2009 yet it should be 30/10/2009 - what should I do? I don't remember having to put in any product keys or anything except putting in my windows live id

    When you installed to the new PC on 30th October, by signing in with the LiveID for your current subscription, which remains active through January, it inherited the subscription status. You can use the retail key in your package to renew that subscription at http://billing.microsoft.com - click the link to renew with a PN or Key - and your subscription expiration will extend to January 2010.
