Sync files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

    1) In  a pc user having folder name as File in X folder, File 2 in Y folder.
We have a Windows 2012 server & its its having share folder name as Share.
So now if you modify or delete or add any to the File1 in X folder ,the something should be update automatically into the Shared folder in 2012 server.
If user modify\add\delete some content in File2 y folder ,then it should be update automatically or directly to the Shared folder.

Please let me know the procedure for the above task.

  • You can use DFS to do replication/sync between local servers, or off-site locations.   You can view this site to get some information: http://blogs.technet.com/b/dfs_in_windows_2012/archive/2013/02/01/managing-dfs-in-windows-server-2012-using-hub-spoke-topology-in-a-domain-namespace.aspx - you might want to do "full mesh" instead.
