CRM 2013 on-premises - Menu control via HTML web resource RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

We have added HTML web resources on multiple entities' forms. Primarily, they are setup to jump to a particular location of a form as these forms are having too much details and it's difficult to scroll down to reach to a particular section of the page/CRM form. Hence, there are some buttons arranged horizontally on these HTML web resources using which user can jump to a specific location. Now, the problem is, due to the lack of horizontal space, we can...not arrange more buttons in a row. Also, we would not like to arrange them in two or three rows. Hence, I replaced these buttons with HTML5 + CSS3 menu control, that can open the items vertically as many as we want. However, with this approach, it cannot overlay the content underneath it and have a vertical scroll bar too. As Dynamics CRM places the web resource control in IFrame, the above menu control is unable to overlay the content. Can any one help me how to overlay the menu control beyond IFrame control? Or Can anybody guide for altogether different solution for this above problem? Any help would be much appreciated.
