Next SharePoint 2010 certification step

Question
-
I've recently passed the exam 70-667 (MCTS Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuring) and I have to choose the next SharePoint 2010 exam to take: which one could be the best choice? 70-668 (MCITP Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Administrator) or 70-573 (MCTS Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development)?
Regardless of the order, I'll have to take all the 4 SharePoint 2010 certifications before moving entirely to SharePoint 2013.

Hi.
I highly recommend that you get 70-668 passed ASAP. Microsoft might be retiring 70-667 and 70-668 on January 31, 2014. The MCITP SharePoint 2010 title will no longer be attainable after July 31, 2014. After passing 70-668, you can get your MCPD by passing 70-573 and 70-576. These developer exams are not yet slated for retirement.
Here is the conflicting page stating the January retirement of 70-667 and 70-668:
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/sharepoint-certification.aspx
Here is the official exam retirement page stating the July retirement of 70-667 and 70-668.
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/retired-certification-exams.aspx
Either way, I'd want do the administrator exams together and then the developer exams together in case of any content overlap
Good luck!
Best wishes, Davin Mickelson

Hi David!
Happy new year and thanks for your reply.
I subscribe to your point of view: that was the certification path I was thinking about as soon as I've passed the 70-667 exam; furthermore, having studied for the 70-667 made me "ready" for those administrative concepts that are more deeply presented in the 70-668 exam.
Maybe this one will be my choice, too.Thank you again.
Bye.
