blocked keys

Hi,
You will no doubt realise after reading this that I am no genius when it comes to computers.
I paid £450 for 3 Windows 7 keys. I was provided with a download link to download said product, but couldn't get it to work. I contacted the person I bought the keys from. He asked me to download a program, the name of which, I can't remember, that allowed him to take over the operation of my PC. I could, and did, watch everything he did.
He downloaded my windows 7 Direct from Microsoft.
I installed one of the keys onto my laptop, but found that some of the drivers I required were not available. I removed windows 7 and reinstalled vista. I then installed windows 7 onto my desktop using the same key.
I activated and validated it successfully. It now says it is not genuine.
Other than my laptop, which I recently sold with Vista back on it, this key has been used nowhere else.
I have included a diagnostic report. I hope you can help with this situation.

There's no need to go any further in the report - you have a BLOCKED MSDN key - and need to follow the advice given in the Stickie and in most other threads in this group to get legal, and to claim you money back from the shyster who sold you the keys..HTH!

And continuing for Noel, you also have a blocked VLK (volume license key) for MS Office Pro. Did you purchase the software the same place that you purchased the operating system? Office won't work properly either once you get Windows legal. Volume licenses are for products purchased in "bulk" for businesses or academic institutions. They can then be resold through a company's home use program to their employees. If you did not purchase through a home use program the software is pirated also.- Marked as answer by Darin Smith MS Thursday, June 3, 2010 5:31 PM
