Need help - laptop is acting up with svchost.exe application error RRS feed

    Hi,

    I'm really sorry if this isn't the appropriate forum for this topic.

    I have been having problem with my computer. It keeps givin me an svchost.exe error. A pop up window appears:

    "The instruction at "0x001f1cb0" referenced memory at "0x001f1cb0". The memory could not be "written".

    Every time I click ok, my laptop cannot connect to the internet and sometimes freezes. I have to restart my laptop.

    I am using Windows XP with 1GB RAM DDR2 and 1.8Ghz. I also use a broadband wireless for my internet connection.

    I ran Ad Aware and AVG and it seems clean. I deleted all the spyware or virus.
