HTTP 404 error when logging into CRM2011 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    When logging into CRM (same user, but multiple CRM orgs on the same CRM deployment), we alsways get:

    Server Error

    404 - File or directory not found.

    The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.


    Enabling tracing on the CRM server, the following error message is logged in the w3p trace:

    Crm Exception: Message: Expected non-empty string., ErrorCode: -2147220989, InnerException: System.ArgumentException: Expected non-empty string.
    Parameter name: userPrincipalName


    This is happening for the one user only... other users, existing and newly created, can log in fine.  I've even comapared the AD user account attributes and can find no difference.

    Any help resolving this would be much appreciated!

    But we'd already created all rules as per the CBA/IFD implementation guide, and other users can logon fine.  In the end, we recreated the user's account in AD.
