Vista Activation Error: C004C003. How to retrieve Key?

Question
-
I was asked to evaluate Vista to plan for future development needs and
challenges. I download the Vista Release candidate from your website.
I copied the CD key that came up on the web page. At the time of the
installation Vista seemed to install, register and activate without
incident.
After 14 days, the system reported the activation server said that the key
was in use and we needed to enter a new key.
Unfortunately, I have a few Vista keys. We have the MSDN subscription, we
had a Vista RC1 disk and key, I did not have access to these and I know I
did not use these. It took about three attempts on two different systems
before I was successful in down loading the Vista RC1. None of the vista
keys work.
The failure message error code is C004C003.
As per your instructions I have used the slmgr utility and I have obtained
the following.
Activation ID: 0761585a-2ba4-4f2e-bae8-88a204f
The first letters of the product key are: DYDCV-
It is quite possible that the hand transcribed keys have an error so I
requested that the key be resent. The response was, that I have exceeded
the allowed number of key requests. The emails mentioned contain links
and these links to do not bring me to any page with a key.
The following options would be quite satisfactory:
Can you send me a functioning activation key.
If you need more information from the use of slmgr, I would be happy to
follow those instructions.
If we can not activate Vista. What are the steps in restoring the
previous XP installation.
Any help here would be profoundly appreciated.

Hi Walter,
First, I'd like to ask you to reenter your product key and activate. Once you've entered it, make sure to click "Next" or press Enter, but do not click "Activate Windows online now". If you're still unable to activate please post the results of the WGA diag tool - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 . With that information I can try find out what might be wrong with the key you're using. Do I understand correctly that you have 2 keys? Thank you!
