Windows Forms Visual Style .NET 1.1 to .NET 2.0 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I converted my .NET 1.1 windows application to .NET 2.0 by opening it in Visual Studio 2005.  But my windows forms components still display in the old style.  E.g. Buttons are square, they don't have rounded edges.  I tried following the steps in this article.  But this didn't work for me.  I'm guessing its because I'm working in visual studio 2005 and not visual studio 2003 and this article is probably specific to visual studio 2003.  Does anyone know how to do this?  Thanks for any help.

  • Hi

I "convert" a few applications few months ago, and I imagine that you're talking about the toolBar control. Well "convert" it's not so easy, you must change your code if you need to take advantage that the new feactures .Net 3.5 or .Net 2.0.

Remenber that .Net just support old feactures but "don't know" if you will want to change some controls for new controls.

Thats way you can see the same control in the toolbar.
