URL's for each keyword?? RRS feed

  • Question

  • hiya,

i was just wondering if anyone knew if you could match up URL's to specific keywords? For example, if i put a stockcode as a keyword, then could i put the product's URL against it so that it goes there rather than to the order URL??

    Thanks

  • Yes you can set destination URLs for each individual kw. if you go into the order the kws are in and select the manage kw's option. From here you can either select the dynamic text link (this gives you the option to show destination url's for each kw) and then fill in each url's kws seperately. Alternatively you can also use import keyowrds option (using csv or excel template) - there is a field in the templae for adding kw destination urls.

You will need to make sure that you select "keyword destination url" in the destination url drop down (this is in the ads tab) .

    Hope that helps.

  • In the manage kw seciton of adcenter select "import or export kws" from the dropdown menu, you should see the following text "Text may be in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (.xls) or a comma-separated values (CSV) file. Use these templates to make sure your content will import correctly: Excel or CSV file." Download your prefered template format (csv or excel). Next fill in the template and save a copy on your pc (NB you are probably best closing the spreadhseet down once it is saved as you cannot normally import it into adcenter whilst it is open). Next use the broswe option to locate the kw spreadhsheet you wish to upload and hit import.

    Hope that helps.
