Why is Powershell installed when installing Fixit? RRS feed

  • Question

  • It shows that a new program - Powershell - is installed on my computer along with Fixit after installing Fixit. I'm sure most people will be clueless about using Powershell. I'm among them. Do I have to keep Powershell on my computer for Fixit to work? Is there any need for me ever to use it?

This really should be addressed on the Fixit try it website. A lot of people are going to be confused when Powershell is installed and they click on it. Thanks!
