Will a Fat32 partition brick WHS? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am considering WHS & running a trial. I use an older version of Ghost that boots from a floppy for all my machines. The boot disk does NOT see my external USB drive to back up to and restore from on my WHS machine. However, it does see it on sbs 2003 & XP. The easy answer would be create a boot disk with USB support. However, finding the right boot disk (looked on bootdisk.com & nothing) for the job is tricky for me & don't know how to create one. My question, is it possible to create a Fat 32 partition on WHS without breaking it? This OS seems to be really finiky. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

BOTTOM LINE: Can I if I wanted partition the HD into a small 50G Fat32 partition without breaking WHS?
