CRM Installation on Virtual Machine RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can we install MSCRM 2011 on two virtual machines, one active and one passive? Using the same server?

How we can deploy this scenario?

  • What do you mean by one being active and one being passive?  You could load balance between virtual servers if that's what you mean.

  • You can install 2 VMs on the same physical host.

On each of the VMs,to install Full CRM2011.

To achieve Active/Passive scenario, 1VM must be turned off.

When both VMs are running, it is Active/Active.

  • Hi,

Yes you can install CRM 2011 on two separate virtual machines in same system, but system performs will be slow. You can turn on one virtual machine at a time.
