    is there a way for Microsoft to disable the os from running on a stolen laptop. my laptop was stolen two days ago and i would like to stop machine from running or at least make it difficult to use. i only have cert number and product key from Gateway

    Sorry, but Microsoft cannot disable an operating system installed on a stolen laptop.
