Unified Messaging Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to get voicemail into my email. Email functionality is fully working. I have everything setup according to the VoIP guide, and the request to leave a voice message is also there. However, after I leave it, there is no sign of it in the user's inbox.

There is an error in Microsoft Exchange at the same time.

    Source: MS Exchange Unified Messaging

    Category: UM Service

    Event ID: 1062

Description: The unified messaging server was unable to submit messages to a Hub Transport server because there is no Hub Transport server available to process the request with the UM Header File "blah blah". Make sure that there is a hub transport service located in the same active directory site as the UM Server. In addition, make sure that the Microsoft Exchange Transport service is started on the Hub Transport server. `

I have made sure of the above, and even reinstalled the Hub Transport server. Any help or suggestion is welcome. Thanks.

  • Hi,

I was careless on this. The certificate subject names are case sensitive. I did not take account of that when following the standard procedure to install an exchange certificate.
