In the system, Project manager is unable to provision the New Meeting Workspace while they create the calendar meeting event.

User selects this option "Use a Meeting Workspace to organize attendees, agendas, documents, minutes, and other details for this event."

You would need to add your project managers to the Administrators group in PWA to make this happen easily.  Are you really willing to do that? Wouldn't it be easier for you to give an administrative assistant Administrator permissions and then ask the assistant to create Meeting Workspaces for the Project Sites when needed?  Hope this helps.

Project Server 2010 does not allow you to create a Meeting Workspace site if you have only Project Manager permissions in the system. Therefore, if you attempt to create a Meeting Workspace, the system generates a Windows SharePoint Services error message. If you need to create a Meeting Workspace site, contact your Project Server administrator for assistance before you attempt to create it.  Hope this helps.

  • Dear Dale,

Thanks for your response. But I am the administrator and I want to allow PMs, so they can provision meeting worksace. What would be the possible solution?

    Thanks
