Controlling the order of sticky threads

  I added a second sticky thread to the Microsoft Money forum. I wanted to make the new one to follow the first sticky, but the new one came first. I found that the sticky threads are ordered within stickys by the latest post on the thread. The reason for wanting to control the order is that the first sticky is of wider use, and that there are several posts that refer to using the first (sticky) thread in the forum. My solution was to lock the second sticky thread after putting a link to a non-sticky discussion thread. I then put a bump post onto the first thread to bring it back to the top again.

  My suggestion would be to maybe have a way to lock the order of the sticky threads.  Maybe I should have used an Announcement instead.
