    I should not be receiving alerts to my own replies to a thread that I have an alert on.  This doesn't make sense.

    Yes, this is something that has previously been reported. We are currently investigating the options we have to address this in a future release. Thank you for reporting the issue.

    I agreed. That needs to be filtered out.
    It has previously been brought up, so this isn't the first time the problem has surfaced.

    Please set a filter on the query that sends ALERTS to omit the poster!
