i entered it carefully several times and was rejected ... so i tried to reset it. the reset function insisted on sending the new log in info to the SAME acct that i cant access. so i tried to log in via location and 'secret answer'. since i set up the acct, i have lived in three states. i tried all three, plus the 'secret answer' [my state of birth], and was rejected every time..
now it wont even let me attempt to reset, because i have 'entered incorrect info' to many times ... [NOT].
WTF is going on? ive used the same username and PW for 8 years ... obviously a security issue, making it easier for hackers to read my email ... but it shouldnt keep me from being able to log on should it?
apparently there is no live 'help' function for hotmail users, except maybe this forum. as usual on ALL web sites that feature them, automated help and FAQ are worthless. any and all live human advice appreciated.
