CRM 2011: Report missing from Default Solution RRS feed

  • I am trying to export the default solution as a back-up of all customizations.

    It tells me there is one component missing from the solution, a report. 

    The report exists in CRM so how can it be missing from the default solution and how can I add it in? There is no Add Required Components button on the default solution!

    It says if this component doesn't exist in the target system the import will fail, so I need to get it in there.

    Can anyone help me please?

  • Dont use default solution as backup.

    Create an new solution then add component in it.

  • Unfortunately I can't do that. The report is not available to add to a new solution - it's just not in the list when I click Add Existing in the Solution.
