I Need Help For Class And 60 Day Trail Problem

  I downloaded visual basic on my home laptop for free for the 60 day trail thing and well my trail is up. Im in begining computer programing class just really learning the basics and i need to get my assignments done at home which i was doing with the free trail but now that its up i need a way to get around this, i mean do i need to pay to get the program usable again? Or is there a way to keep the free trail going? need help! this is pretty much the same program i use in school so a different program wouldnt really work out for me. Please help.
