Change/Remove a Subscription in My Learning RRS feed

  • I work for a company that participates in the Microsoft Partner Program (MSPP) as a Gold Certified Partner.  As a result, I get to take two free E-Learning collections a year.  I completed the signup, filled out the questionaire on my learning preferences, and then was presented with a list of possible collections to pick from.  The screen stated that I would be able to change these later, but unfortunately, I didn't make a special note of how, since I figured it would be intuitive.  I picked two that seemed tied to my learning goals, but later discovered that they were for older versions of the technology I want to train in. 

    Unfortunately, I now cannot change or remove these subscriptions.  I should be able to do this, according to the FAQ - it says that in My Learning, I can delete a learning resource by clicking on Remove in the Action column.  But, there is no Remove option, only Mark as Completed.  How the heck do I do this?

    -Live ID you used to login to E-Learning

    -16 Digit Hex PUID

    16 Digit Hex PUID –

    Go to the following site:  https://account.live.com/SummaryPage.aspx
    Sign-in to Windows Live.
    Click on Account Summary (in the left nav)
    Click on Registered Information (Above Password Reset Information)
    This will open up to your profile data. 
    Scroll all the way down to the bottom and you will see the words: Unique ID: [16 digits HexPUID]
    Copy that 16 digit number paste it into this email.

    -Course Name and Number you are referring to.

    -URL where error/issue encountered.

    -Screenshot of the error if you can get.

    -Detailed description of the problem.

    -Phone number we can reach you at.

    -Country you are located in.

  • I sent the information as requested.  However, I don't understand why you cannot just tell us here how to do what I am asking.  I'm not the only person who has asked how to change or remove a subscription in My Learning.  Why keep it a secret?  Or is it that the FAQ is wrong, and we cannot change or remove a subscription ourselves?  If that is in fact the case, then please update the FAQ, or even better, give users this ability.  There is simply no logical reason to lock users out from fully managing their training.
